the habs need to look at Tuomo Ruutu

end of story . he is a group II and ripe for the pickings. i know he hasnt played much but the time to pouch is now

offer him some bigger monies and see if the hawks will match it

2nd line center good bye ribero (no offense) but Tuomo Ruutu is head and shoulders over Mike. Ruutu likes to play a physical game

all depends what kind of money we offer
we'd have to give up

Over $1 million to $2 million: second round pick

Over $2 million to $3 million: first and third round picks

now he has been hurt all season and im not sure if he is in the driver seat when it's coming to his contract neg .

id definalty give up the picks for this guy

lets take a gamble here i think he is worth it for many years to come

I love Tuomo is has oodles of talent and is relatively unknown because of his injury troubles. He is still a great prospect as well and could develop into a great player!

Tuomo is Chicago's franchise player. Whatever the habs offer, the hawks will match. Even if it means dumping some other salary.

The only way I see the hawks letting tuomo go is if they know something that everybody else doesn't know. Back issues are known to become chronic so Tuomo may be damaged goods.

Yeah He is a very unique tallent who has injury problems, there is maybe a 1% chance we could get him because every scout thinks if he can put together an 82 game season he will really come together.

I'm not sure I want another injury prone center. I love Tuomo, ever since the 04 world cup when he undressed Scott Niedermayer in the final. This guy would be awesome for our 2nd line center spot, but I'm a little afraid about his injury porte-folio.
