Francis Bouillon Birthplace

I understand Francis Bouillion's birthplace was in New York. What I'm really curious to know is whether or not he was raised in Quebec. He has an accent and speaks French aside from having a French name. Was he born in the U.S. and raised in a French Canadian environment ? Is he a duel citizen? Just something I've always been curious about.

Good question...

I have been wondering about this as well.

i have hears him say in interviews that he was born in NY and grew up in montreal. He said recently after the playoffs that he would like to stay in montreal, cause he likes it there and that he grew up there.

If his dad was Haitian, was his mom from Quebec ? Did his parents simply meet in the U.S. ? And the name Bouillon doesn't sound so Haitian to me. :dunno: How do you explain him being raised in Quebec? It's obvious the name Bouillon is from a French origin. Where?

It all started with a simple request for some clarification.

Haitians have french names. My Haitain professor had the same surname as my step grandfather who was from Quebec.
