Lolllllll Brisebois!!

Hahahahahaha

Marmax 05-09-2006 10:14 PM

That was a putrid play by Brisebois. Midget mistake really.

Marc the Habs Fan 05-09-2006 10:14 PM

That was pathetic, one of the first things you learn is to never go up the center of the ice in that situation. Does anyone (cough 110% cough) still think he is better than Markov and would still be the Habs best D? :biglaugh:

Tricolore#20 05-09-2006 10:15 PM

It's a shame because I thought Theodore played fairly well in the game.

Avs are now done. Ducks vs. Sharks/Oilers in the West Final.

Theo was good, but it was a couple of other ex-habs(Turgeon, Brisebois) that were terrible. Making soft plays left and right.

tinyzombies 05-09-2006 10:18 PM

Theodore played pretty well. He still looked awkward though.

I just saw a replay of the goal again. Looks like Breezer was trying to go up the boards with it, but it hit the Duck stick and deflected to the middle. Can't tell for sure though. There were NO Avs where the puck ended up tho, so you have to give him the benefit of the doubt. Right? :biglaugh:

Off to Paris!

Brisebois is such a duster. Unbelievable.

And I don't care about that lucky save on Selanne, Theo's glove hand is garbage.

Whitesnake 05-09-2006 10:21 PM

He was amazing, his confidence is back, he played great, let's acknowledge it for once. If he had played like that here, he would still be here....

Good Job!

I'm no 110% fan mostly because I consider them as a team of clown but have they ever said that? Well, early this season, I remember one those clown calling Markov a "toton" (translation: akward) saying Markov's hockey sense is the worse on the entire habs team, so it might be true. It sure shows they know absolutely nothing about hockey. Brisebois at his best is hardly the average-subpar Markov.

F. Duchemin 05-09-2006 10:23 PM

That was really poor. He did lost the puck twice along the board on that shift and finally give them... and they score.

davenash 05-09-2006 10:25 PM

Theo played pretty good tonight.

But BREEZE-BY! Wow. What a play, in OT.

Thanks to Brisebois. I have money on the Ducks and I'm laughing all way to the bank, thanks to Good Ol' Brisebois.

I don't watch the show, but several here wrote that one of the clowns of the show (Pierre Rinfret?) said it.

I also remember Michel Bergeron last summer on CKAC...''Brisebois is better than Rafalski''. :biglaugh:

Breeze-bye I don't care at all, he had a great game tonight and then a major breezecramp, same old, same old.

As far as Theo, a 5 million dollar goalie made that breakaway save on OT. I ain't his biggest fan, but can we at least say that he had a tremendous game tonight....

Pretty funny how no thread was started like it usually does when he loses badly and then because they lost, some people try to downplay his game....

And again, I hate the guy for never taking the blame when he was suppose to, I hated when he let us down this year but that game or that series has nothing to do with it. He played great but not enough....

Good Job!

He played okay, I wouldn't say great really. He left a ton of occasions where there were big holes to shoot into and the player missed. He makes easy saves look more difficult just because of that. The loss doesn't go on his shoulders, but a true great goaltender would have won this game for the Avs. Lupul's goals were totally stoppable.

Teufelsdreck 05-09-2006 10:31 PM

I don't think Théo will be inviting Jeffrey Lupul to his family barbecue.

I have another one, ''Chris Higgins.....well if he was that good, he would be with the Habs already''.....(said at the beginning of the year...)

CaptCrunch 05-09-2006 10:32 PM

The game tonight

Watching a great up-tempo game 3: Lovely

Seeing the 4th goal of a young guy after a bonehead pass by Brisebois: Fantastic

Watching for the first time (in color!) Lafleur score the winning goal by an incredible pass by Pete Mahovlich, the same Mahovlich score the safety goal by an incredible, I-don't-know-how-he-saw-the-open-guy, backhand pass by Lafleur in the 1976 stanley cup final match on NHL Network:

ATTABOY!

:thumbu: :hyper:

P.S.: Mahovlich was big, Bill Barber was big AND ugly and Bobby Clarke looked like the toothless, long lost father of Sean Avery (always blabering, face you would want to smash into the boards)

sorry... I had to share my enjoyment

:D
