#3 pick
is Chicago in a place where they need to stay at the 3 and take an elite prospect or are they in a position to trade down to acquire more picks and go with a quantity of good players over one great player right now?

that said how much interest is there from Blackhawk nation to trade the #3 for the #9 & 17 (assuming the Wild still has it)?

I would guess not a lot. CHI already has a lot of quality 2nd-tier prospects, yet they lack the true elite prospect that this pick could conceivably bring.

Hawks are definitely now looking for quality rather than quantity

The ONLY way that #3 pick gets moved is if we put a package together to land a good 1st line forward.

The prospect we pick at 3 will be much more valueble than any package of picks or prospects any team would put together. Quality over quantity indeed.
