Do any of you have a problem with the HFBoard site, like its having technical difficulties and stuff like that...

KnuklZ 06-24-2006 10:43 PM

had really hard time accessing site right after 9pm EST. Had to hit refresh alot to get in (temporarily). I guess this is a busy day for hfboards ;)

Trade deadline, draft time, whenever there is lots going on its really hard to get on and stay on, not a computer guy, but maybe they need a bigger server with more memory?

it's more difficult to be in than the last game of the cup final . It was also the same yesterday .

A1 06-25-2006 12:06 AM

yeah, I've been having problems all day as well.

Le Tricolore 06-25-2006 12:09 AM

it was nothing compared to deadline day.

Talent Analyst 06-25-2006 12:27 AM

I got many problem :P

I don't understand it myself. Even at a peak time like the draft this site does not get that much traffic. It should not be crashing. And it is really bad for the site to crash at times when there are probably more new users of hockeysfuture and hfboards then at any other time. If you want to get new users to become regular users then having your site work when they come to it is mandatory.

There's definitely a problem technically somewhere, however the best way to help these guys out is by sponsoring. Servers and bandwidth aren't free. Can't throw money at a problem to fix it, but may be with more sponsors we'd have a more stable site to use. Just a thought.

When they get lax on some of their rules regarding language, I might just sponsor.
