Habs and the ever so "competitive offer"
damn I tired of that. Habs make competitive offers to big names, but end up signing Dandeneaults and what not.
I say the hell with big names and work on improving our team with solide trades and good drafting. anyways, no big name free agent wants to play here, why waste time making offers they'll never accept. :banghead:

Which is what the team is doing.

I think Montreal city and team alike would be in a lot better shape if the Ontario border was moved a couple hundred km to the east. Meh, it just popped into my head so forgive me.

Shabutie 07-04-2006 01:26 PM

Now hopefully Gainey has a back-up plan ;)

Pat 07-04-2006 01:28 PM

nope, I'm not in panic...think what you want.
responding to the Markov who seems to have disapeared

uh elias was the MOST attractive free agent for us this season, but he decided to resign with his original team...so why blame gainey? I'd rather have us try to attain the best players and fail as opposed to overpaying for a marginal player and totally ruin our team.

My gold? - Bob Gainey's gold teeth. If he says it or is quoted saying it, I'll believe it.
