It's a one year deal.

I wonder how much they gave him.

Free Parking?

Yotes are going CRAZY this year and spending WAY to much on UFA!

riseandfall9 07-04-2006 04:58 PM

Ill put money on it. JR has a friggin great season.

Osprey 07-04-2006 05:04 PM

My heart stopped when, on the front page of TSN, I saw JR in a Kings jersey and the first line read "JR is back..." :)

Captain Ron 07-04-2006 05:05 PM

The Coyotes are going to win the Cup in '07.:sarcasm:

Reaper45 07-04-2006 05:23 PM

Good ****ing riddance. Lets hope Brownie makes him stupid with a clean check.

savemefromtears 07-04-2006 05:45 PM

Amen to those two posts!

Herby 07-04-2006 06:20 PM

Just watch.

He is going to put up 65+ pts next season.

Not saying the Kings should have signed him, its just our luck.

jfont 07-04-2006 06:29 PM

Will Rink Rat stop stalking JR now?

Venom_17 07-04-2006 08:04 PM

Jr...don't let the door CONCUSS you on the way out. Good riddance.

As if he would go somewhere any further away from Vegas...

Live in the Now 07-04-2006 08:19 PM

He's going to get a Blake-like reception from the 300's. Another thing I'll have to see for myself.

When Brown hits him, that will be his last game.

I Am Ziggy Palffy 07-04-2006 08:21 PM

i'm not so optimistic about this....i think he still has hockey left in him....

ILuvLA 07-04-2006 08:23 PM

I want to see Brownie clean his clock

KingPurpleDinosaur 07-04-2006 09:45 PM

u guys are pretty sour about him, duno why. Not like he really betrayed the Kings, just didn't seem to do well. Sure it could be from distractions, but he did pick it up towards the end of the year. Whatever motives that may be, the fact that he picked it up is always a good thing for our team.

Really, is there any difference between him and Ronning or Carter?

Ugh, yeah huge difference. We got those guys at the end of the year. Ronning did ok, until he got hurt. Carter also got hurt. Roencik only gave 60%, or had bad skates, or was too busy going on god damn tv shows, not to mention the fact that we paid him 5 million to produce less than Sean Avery.

According to an article, Barnett flew JR out to Phoenix to have his fitness examined. The Yotes were, reportedly, impressed with his physical condition; he was telling the truth about committing himself to the gym. Also, Barnett signed him to a contract that was heavy with incentives. This will be good for JR, since it forces him to earn his money, unlike last year. I hope that it works out for him and that he rebounds.

That and the rediculous attempt to win fans hearts by making personal videos to kings message boards ran by a thief and drug addict. Thank god for HF.
