EDIT: most embarassing Habs moment, now that I think about it: the day Houle and Tremblay were named GM and coach. I wasn't sure if I should laugh or cry, so I just got drunk.

Most embarassing moments? Whenever a player of our own team got booed. This is so ridiculous.

that was right after the states started bombing iraq, i believe the booing was warranted for political reasons.

but most embarrassing moment was when barnaby scored a hattrick against the habs on mothersday with his haggard mother in the stands cheering him on. i hated barnaby with a passion back in the day.

Well, in a sense, yes. I'm Habsruleen. The mods truncated my username so my username sucked, and I got sick of seeing it so I signed up again under my 'usual' username on other boards.

Hiring a rookie GM and three rookie coaches the same day has to rank up there in a zone by itself. I remember hanging my head in shame while my roomates laughed about it.....then getting drunk. I was living in New Brunswick at the time - I still rememeber saying "This is the beginning of the end."
