Except those times when he scores.

Yeah you're right.. i guess that's why he has 315 goals in his nhl career so far (not counting playoff goals) :shakehead

dylan 07-20-2006 05:43 PM

hes always looking for the snipe. hits it most times and when he does its a thing of beauty, one of the best placed wrist shots in the league. but that explains the over the net and posts shots. you cant hit em all. i dont recall too many attempted dekes on goaltenders this past season though, mostly dancing through the oppositions forwards and defence then wrister.

Good answer

I agree with Snow. I fear Kovalev most when the game's on the line ;)

coolguy21415 07-20-2006 06:28 PM

YES! The Islander's GM doesn't want to face Kovalev in a shootout! Will Snow dress if both the Isle's goalies get hurt? :sarcasm:

Dwight 07-20-2006 07:30 PM

His role model is DiPietro :)

It's like if Huet's role model was Danis

Nah, it's more like Pat Jablonski's role model is Huet ;)

It would be awesome if he did.

GoodKiwi 07-20-2006 07:56 PM

Islanders don't fear Habs, Garth Snow fears Kovalev. ;)

I spoke with a friend, and he says someone sent him the link of those garth snow pictures on a myspace account, but it was one of the girls' account (one of the ones kissing he said) i'm still waiting for the link hahaha

Habsy 07-20-2006 09:40 PM

You guys overrate Kovalev. He has mad skills but doesn't bring it enough. I just wish he would not take shifts off all the time.

ForsbergForever 07-20-2006 11:12 PM

For all of Kovy's insane skills, the mind-boggling moves and unstoppable skating, he hasn't really put up the points in his career to justify superstar status. He should be a lock for 40g/90pts every year but the motivation is what makes the whole thing work. Kovy's nickname should be The Faucet cuase he turns it on and off when he wants. Anyways, rant over.

Ya, that's like saying, I wish Koivu would grow a foot or so taller. It just ain't going to happen. Accept it and move on.

deandebean 07-21-2006 09:08 AM

my god, this Snow character is a dud. He's a buffoon. Answering these stupid questions are enough to tell me this guy is a turd. The Islanders are run by idiots.

22SteveBegin22 07-21-2006 09:12 AM

Who hides in the bathroom and then jumps out to scare Rick DiPietro?

His boss, so Ricky better learn to start enjoying it or he is outta there :sarcasm:
(I know, it wouldn't happen, he is Snow's role model so he if he ever leaves the Isles, he will probably end up being stuffed and hung on the wall of the GMs office)
