Habs Top 20 Prospects By The Fans #2

Kostitsyn has run away with the first with over 50% right now. I will move onto the second.

Its a long way from the start of the season, so lets to a poll of the top 20 Montreal prospects. Each poll will be open for 2 days, but i may start the next one sooner if there is a clear cut winner of one poll.

Danis at 25 and Cote at 24 are becoming too old to be considered prospects.

1.) Andrei Kostitsyn
2.)

I'm going Carey Price here due to the importance of Goaltending and the high ceiling he has.

Dwight 07-21-2006 09:13 AM

Well, if I was able to vote in this poll, I'd pick Carey Price, but alas, I'm a mere rookie for another 2 months :(

yoteshot 07-21-2006 09:17 AM

I voted for Carey Price also.
Add Cepek

EagleBelfour 07-21-2006 09:18 AM

IMO, you should include Murray, as he havn't yet reached HFboards standard.

I votes Carey price, quite easily. Add White.

Dan K 07-21-2006 09:24 AM

I voted Latendresse. Price certainly has the highest ceiling, but Latendresse should be ready much sooner than Carey, and should also be an impact player.

Add Matt D'Agostini, for sure!

Weis 07-21-2006 09:34 AM

Another Price vote.

Add Matt D'Agostini.

Dr_Hook 07-21-2006 09:39 AM

I can't vote officially either but my pick is Latendresse, in front of Price by a hair !! IMO, they are both in front of A Kost at this point; but the people have spoken... I'd add D'Agostini also.

dylan 07-21-2006 09:45 AM

call me crazy but i picked grabovsky. hes gonna suprise a lot of people.

Tuggy 07-21-2006 09:46 AM

Chipper. I think he has a better shot at making this team then people realize, especially if Bonk is traded.

HomaridII 07-21-2006 09:51 AM

I still can't vote... rofl

I guess I have to wait the 90 days until I ain't a rookie, lol.

Beakermania* 07-21-2006 10:00 AM

As far as adds go, I'll do D'agostini, White and Cepek in that order as we go. Shouldn't affect things too much as none of them would be in most peoples top 5. Price, Chips, Fischer, Lats, OByrne and Grabovsky will all be ranked ahead of them IMO.

Latendresse...ADD D'AGOSTINO QUICKLY

Not even close judging from the development camp.

Talent Analyst 07-21-2006 12:08 PM

benji 07-21-2006 12:48 PM

Went with Price.

jpchabby 07-21-2006 12:55 PM

I take Latendresse... big player, he's gonna help us a lot, that's sure...

Jakomyte 07-21-2006 01:24 PM

TroyM 07-21-2006 01:37 PM

L'abstrait 07-21-2006 02:49 PM

I have to go with Latendresse for now, we'll see after the training camp.

Munchausen 07-21-2006 02:52 PM

Chipchura, take 2.

Team_Spirit 07-21-2006 03:00 PM

Id go with Chipchura as well.

Toro 07-22-2006 10:25 AM

For me its between Lats and Price.

Price is important cause he is a goalie but Lats is exactly what this team needs right now and he could jump in anytime and be a great power forward for years to come.

Lats lats lats lats:yo:
