Comparable surface to Sports Court
Hey all i was interested in getting a square surface for shooting pucks in my basement (i play inline). I wanted to find out what might be a good/cheap way to go in terms of getting something that feels similar to sports court. I was thinking maybe a small piece of linoleum? Any help would be great, thanks.

Linoleum is the only thing that comes to mind. Maybe a smooth sheet of wood.

dont use wood unless it's sealed and really smooth. Something like plywood would eat your blade. Linoleum would work or another alternative is if you have an old dry erase board that you're not using. I had a pretty good sized one and just took off the outside metal frame and it works fine.

Use linoleum, it's the bomb...

After reading this thread, I've found a few things to add. Even though I'll probably end up going the linoleum / roller + ice puck route.

steel puck - for ice like movements

Synthetic Ice

Now I've got to go build myself a shooting gallery
