Higgins - Plekanec (I like these guys on the PK they keep getting scoring chances.)
Bonk- Johnson (Bonk was pretty good last year on the pk especialy late in the season.)

If higgins gets alot of ice time 5 on 5 and maybe 5 on 4 I guess we'll see less of him on the pk ?

Who do you see playing the PK ?

Begin should be on the first wave before Higgins. Begin blocks a lot of shots

Begin Bonk Johnson and Plekanec. Thats it.

Leave out Higgins of the PK. Only use him if one of the other 4 is penalised or injured... higgins could benifit from getting time on the PP instead of the PK.

We must keep Begin on the PK.. the guy is like a 2nd goaltender... Johnson is not exactly a PKer, mostly a good 2way player

Begin - Bonk (was amazing togheter last season, especially in playoff)
Plekanec - Ferland / Lapierre / Murray / Koivu / Samsonov / sometime Johnson (we must keep Higgins' energy for PP and even strenght)

Bonk-Begin
Murray-Plekanek


Koivu and Higgins can do better job that Murray and Plekanek , but I don't want to see one of them injure . That why I put Murray and Plekanek .

The first wave should be Carbonneau and Gainey

Plekanec-Higgins ( I thing they scored somethign like 5 goals in PK together)

That's what the PK will look like imo .. Now, what about the PP? It should be a stong one this year!

The only problem with Bonk is his salary. If he was paid 1-1.5 million$. Everybody would be pretty happy with his work.

this looks good to me too but Murray had a lot of PK in the play-offs. So maybe:

Murray/Bonk
Plekanec/Johnson

I wouldn't be surprised if Johnson has more PP than PK time.

well he'd be repalced by Chipchura or Lappierre witch both of them i feel very comftorbal letting them go on the PK

You might be the only one.

Chipchura is nowhere near ready for regular NHL duty. Ditto for Lapierre. They still have a lot to learn.

Meanwhile, Bonk is the man.

that is what will happen me thinks


johnson will be used on the pp, he may be used sparingly on the pk due to who is in the box but that would be only when there are 2 or 3 pkers in the box at one time or 1 or 2 in the box and a few of the other pkers just had a shift and are tired or something.
