Well, in regards to Ivanans at least, I believe he was partly brought over for his size and partly because he could help Kostitsyn out in Hamilton, where no other player (as far as i can remember) could speak the same language as him. And wasn't Langdon from Newfoundland? I seem to remember hearing that some Newfoundlanders have accents that can be difficult to understand. Could make for an interesting conversation between a Newfoundlander and a Belarusian just starting to learn English. All you'd need then is a drunk Glaswegian with a thick accent and you probably have yourselves the making of a 'Three men walked into a pub...' joke.

Pretty funny to see #20 given to Johnson right after Zednik is gone ... it will seem like making a statement. :)
