Satelite Radio
Just wanted to ask you guys if XM or Sirius are worth buying from a hockey coverage and hockey talk standpoint
|
You'll find all the answers you need in the entertainment board. They have a thread on Satelite Radios.
|
XM has the exclusive rights to NHL.
|
You should PM Leaf Lander. I hear he's an expert on the subject.
|
XM will have exclusive NHL coverage after this season, and XM also has currently a 24hour hockey talk channel

XM is great...but hockey talk is mostly repeat until the season begins. Although short updates do come daily. I prefer XM.:yo:

Laef Ladner will not be pleased with the way this thread has gone so far...

other sirius thread >this sat thead

sirius has howard stern, NFL, will have nascar, and music. XM has Opie and Anthony, MLB, NHL, and music. i have had XM for 2 years mostly for O&A but they currently have better recievers (truely portable ones) and i love phil espos show on the home ice channel.

I never thought I would pay for radio willingly, but traveling through the west this summer, XM radio was a godsend. I wouldn't be without it now. I love the NHL channel, they do play some vintage games every night, and when the game didn't appeal to me, there is all kinds of music to listen to...my hubby loves Air America and listens to it a lot of the time.
Believe me, XM is the way to go. |
I also have XM and am very happy with it. All the hockey games during the season, 24 hour hockey station. Its all good.
