Montreal's #10 Prospect by the Fans

Sorry for the late start, I was away for the long weekend

Winner of Poll #9 is Sergei Kostitsyn.

Its a long way from the start of the season, so lets to a poll of the top 20 Montreal prospects. Each poll will be open for 2 days, but i may start the next one sooner if there is a clear cut winner of one poll. 40/80 rule (40 vote lead, at least 80 total votes cast)

Danis at 25 and Cote at 24 are becoming too old to be considered prospects.

Next add will be Duncan Milroy. I will add them as we go, unless there is someone else people want to see added?? Or is there someone you will be ready to vote for soon and want moved up to the front of that list.

In case of a Tie as happened in poll #6 I will count Rookie votes manually so post those here as a tie breaker. They will only be counted on a tie, i will not manually count if the vote is won by a close margin.

1.) Andrei Kostitsyn
2.) Carey Price
3.) Guillaume Latendresse
4.) Kyle Chipchura
5.) Mikhail Grabovsky
6.) Alexi Emelin
7.) David Fischer
8.) Ryan O'Byrne
9.) Sergei Kostitsyn

I forgot to put the timer on this poll but new poll will be thursday morning at the latest, if the 40/80 rule is not met.

I voted Lapierre on this poll as I think he is NHL ready and that should make him a top 10 guy.

IcE ColD 08-08-2006 07:25 AM

Lapierre as well.

Whitesnake 08-08-2006 07:38 AM

Lapierre will need to be considered at one point. He's truly close of making and I believe his upgrade being a good two-way 3rd liner center for the future. Great size, great speed, gritty, what's not to like???

Jaroslav Halak for me. I like the guy a lot, and feel he has the potential to be an NHL starter some day.

Lapierre certainly also deserves consideration, and should be up there in the next 3 spots, but I'd take Halak here.

I'm down to one guy to be added. who else do you think deserves to be on the list of options???

Maxim Lapierre for me, add Ferland...

Beakermania* 08-08-2006 08:30 AM

forgot totally about Ferland.

Do we want him before Milroy is added? I think he's the better prospect but what do you guys say??

Ok, next adds will be Ferland, Andre Benoit, Milroy, Archer, Lemieux, Paquet, Lambert, Stewart, Sanford, Lacasse, Urquhart,

If you want someone added sooner than they are scheduled to be added, just leave a comment to that affect. I will try to make move them up as far as I can, if more than one name is to be added to the next poll i will break the tie by

1) majority of requests.
2) first request if tied.

Yeah, that would be great!

Anybody know why HF didn't add Andre Benoit to the list of our prospect yet?
