How many pre-season games do you guys think rds will televise?

I remember that last season pretty much all of them were on the radio (I remember that gameday thread for our first game back against Atlanta where we had over 1,000 replies :yo: )

And if I'm not mistaken, 2 or 3 or so games were televised. Should it be the same this year?

Dont think they will show any, although I always wished they would. The only place to get these games I think is at la Cage Aux sports. OH no, now I have to get up and have a beer to watch our prospects ;)

Oh woe is you :sarcasm:

Rds televise only the games at the Centre Bell. If it is in Washington, Toronto or what ever, Rds won't televise it. It was like this last year.

They might televise 1 or 2 but not all 5 home games.

I don't remember a single pre-season game being televised by RDS last year, but I might be wrong...

I believe a game against Atlanta and Toronto were televised, I could be wrong though.

Fattal 08-13-2006 12:05 PM

Against Boston it was televised too. I am 80% sure that all home games are going to be televised

Poetic as ever mon ami.

TomPlex 08-13-2006 02:35 PM

The away Boston game was televized and I remember the feed being awful. So it's not only the home games that they televized.

habsprospects 08-13-2006 03:00 PM

They shall televise all the Habs pre-season game :teach:

Pascal 08-13-2006 03:46 PM

I'll try to go to all the home ones.

kostitsyn1489 08-13-2006 03:48 PM

I remember a game vs TB and one against Boston. But I hope this year tehey'll show them all.

maybe 1 then...I only remember the Habs vs Avs in Quebec a couple years ago that was on RDS...

znk 08-13-2006 04:48 PM

If I remember correctly last season all home games durring the pre season were shown at "La cage aux sports." Altho it was the RDS feed they were only available at La cage. I went and saw a couple of games.

Habs13 08-13-2006 05:11 PM

Two games on tv, all home games at le Cage aux Sports.

is it in every La cage or just in Montréal?

Stefan 08-13-2006 05:36 PM

If RDS is not showing any games, and you'd like to see two games for $2.99 and you have digital cable... you can subscribe to LeafsTV for the month and get both Leafs Habs games seeing as LeafsTV shows every Leafs pre-season game. That's what I do every year, and I in fact keep the channel now since it's got plenty of good AHL, ECHL and NCAA hockey on it as well

It has to be every La cage (well its my guess anyway) it makes more sense buisnesswise. It attracts customers.

You are right. RDS showed 2 games (Boston, Toronto) for everyone, and the all were shown at Le Cage.
