Positional diagrams / web resources?

Hello HF,

We have recently gotten a low level team together. Most of us are playing on ice for the first time :amazed:. The last few weeks we have been going to open skate stick & puck practices, and most of our skating is starting to come around. That was the biggest hurdle to get over at first.

Now that we are able to skate, skate backwards, stop, and change direction without thinking about it, the next hurdle seems to be getting people to understand their positional roles on the ice. Everyone seems to be following the puck.

I am hoping to find some rink diagrams that show what areas the different positions should be covering in the offensive and defensive zones, as well as faceoff positioning. Could anyone point me to some good images showing this? Or any other great web resources for beginners trying to learn the game.

Thanks.

Some good basic stuff:

Also, if you do a couple of google searches you can find quite a bit of good info.
