Kondratiev another Leaf Wonderlust and Dreamweaving by Leaf Fans

Just another small defenceman who was annointed cult hero status by over zealous Leaf fans who take every thing to heart presented by Leafs TV. This guy is so unready to play at the NHL level if indeed the AHL, I expect him to be returning to Mother Russia in a short time. I would imagine Carlo and some of the others are not too happy about Mad Max drawing an NHL salary while their getting chicken feed AHL salary. You see Max has a deal in his contract that say's if he doesn't play for the Leafs he goes home to Russia, so they have to pay him the NHL salary pretty good deal if your a 6th rd pick. Perhaps it would be better if he did go back to Russian a fill out get stronger and get some more good coaching, he won't get it in the Leaf organization. The way I see it that's the only way he'll ever have a long term career with the Buds.

Isn't there something better you could be doing with your time?

That's great. You're a real treat. His contract did not have any signing bonus and would otherwise be a poor contract in his favour. The one clause his agent was able to negotiate was that he preferred to develop in Russia as opposed to the minor leagues.

Big deal.

Yah, I am sure JF is losing big league sleep over this one.

Dick.

Don't have anything better to do with your time then try to bother people?

I don't think expectations for Max were ever so high that he's considered a disappointment to be developing in the AHL. That's what a lot of 20 year old prospects do when they come over from Europe.

Lets be fair here...

Firstly,i dont think all leafs fans were sold on kondratiev being an instant markov. And the leafs have been good at drafting top four defenseman.Although not a true number one yet.Markov, kaberle, covo,Pilar(until virus),and perhaps bell, kondratiev.Throw in Mccabe and you have a good core for the future, with the addition through(f.a or trade) of a number one defenseman. No one implied kondratiev is the answer.

Alright people, cut out the insults.
I disgree with him also, that doesnt mean I have to call him an idiot/loser or anything else.

It's not a crime to offer an unpopular opinion.

Well...you won't get anything else but an unpopular opinion from Red/keon14.

Doesn't your act work anymore at TMLFans.ca? :dunno:

Another thing you might want to consider for your rant is that NHL teams only play their players for the days they are on the roster of the team...

I really hate when others do what I'm about to do, but it just has to be done here.

1. Paragraphs: They can be your friend too. Makes for much easier reading.
2. Commas: "Perhaps it would be better if he did go back to Russian a fill out get stronger and get some more good coaching, he won't get it in the Leaf organization." Try 'em out! The sentence will certainly seem much less cumbersome.
3. Sources: Use reliable ones. Your uncle Tibor? He's probably not one I would use. Is he the one that came up with this one-way contract rubbish?

There. I've said it. Perhaps it is best that you no longer post here. It's your kind of ignorant folk, that makes me not want to talk to Leaf fans.
