Dogs vs leafs

2-0 so far. Gratton (unassisted). Dagenais (Dykhuis Plante)

Fichaud in nets. Archer still out. Milroy out. Blouin and Carpentier in. Boo!

Thx for all those updates montreal, it's a great way to keep myself occupied before the games. Your article was also a great read! :)

Thanks for the update, love to hear how things are going on the farm! I never think of checking on the kids, but I'm glad someone does!!

THNX AGAIN ;)

3-0 now apparently

Gratton from Beauchemin, Balej
Hooray!

3rd period is next...

montreal 11-18-2003 02:48 PM

It's getting kind of chippy. Komo mixes it up. 3rd should be interesting.

Leafs suck so far. They haven't tested Fichaud much at home, we play them at home next game as well. The Dogs play 5 games in 6 days this week, the busiest time of the season for them.

montreal 11-18-2003 03:40 PM

Dogs win 5-2 Big night for Benny Grats, 4 pts, 2g 2a. Dagenais 2g. Not a good night for the kids though, nothing on the scoresheet, except Balej 1a Beaucy 1a. Higgins +1.

I think we might want to consider calling up Gratton to play with Begin, even if just for a short time.

I'm not really sold on Langdon. Aside from a few boring fights, he hasn't done anything to really warrant a spot on the line-up.

Would we have to send Gratton through waivers if we were to bring him up and then send him down later?

Langdon, or a player of his ilk, is important in the East. We can't have teams laughing at us because they know we'll back down if they raise the level of intensity in a game. Rivet pushes and shoves after the whistle, big deal. Everyone knows that he'll get his clock cleaned if he actually drops his gloves. Langdon skates by and tells you to cool it and it's a different story. Plus, he can win big fights and pump the crowd up.
