FLYERS vs WILD 11/20
good chance for those of you in PHILLY to see Gaborik. anybody know the lineups?
|
Flyers line-up should be:
Recchi - Roenick - Amonte LeClair - Handzus - Williams Gagne - Primeau - Kapanen Brashear - Lapointe - Somik Therien - Desjardins Johnsson - Weinrich Pitkanen - Vandermeer **Ragnarsson still recovering from the flu, which kept him out of the Carolina game, he also missed yesterdays practice. Esche in goal |
Rags might have strep throat!
Here come the Devils West... Looking at a tight low scoring game. I read that Fedoruk might be back for the weekend. He skated practice with the team yesterday, with a full face shield. |

Can't wait to see Gaborik.
|
Shutout by these cats twice last year, i hope we don't suffer the same fate this season. i thik all we need to beat this team is 2 goals, i think our defence can hold them back for 3 periods. I say we reverse the roles tonight and shut them out for a change.
I'm calling it: Flyers 2 (Desjardins, Handzus) Wild 0 |
Wld played last night, ok it was aganst the SWB err the Pittsburgh Penguins. Wild had an easy time against an AHL defense. It will not be so easy for them this time against the Flyers looking to an extend the home unbeaten streak.
look for the Flyers to come right at them from the start. hit them at every opportunity and wear them down. Flyers should and will win Flyers 4 (Gagne,Roenick,Amonte 2) Wild 1 (Dupuis) I dont think the Flyers need to be reminded what happened last year. Hopefully they will not be loking ahead to the Saturday showdown with Boston. |

You haven't missed much. He hasn't played very well since he ended the holdout. Although he did score on a penalty shot last night against the Pens. Us Wild fans are hoping that will get him going! |

 <---This is what the rest of the league will be doing if Gabby gets hot... |
Well I hope Gaborik gets hot...he is on my fantasy team! :p
Hopefully Gagne can stay on the lil roll that he is on, that would be nice. I'm saying: Flyers 1 Wild 0 |
Flyers 5(Gagné,Williams,Roenick,Amonte,Kapanen)
Wild-1(Gabs) |

No one is giving the Minnesota Wild any credit. On the heels of playing last night I think the Minnesota Wild are going to be a bit winded and the Flyers will win. I see a lot of 0's and 1's for the Minnesota Wild. I'll take a 4-3 win for the Flyers. Just because the Wild are trap-first or the Flyers are a stellar home team doesn't mean a while lot. To keep the Wild off the scoreboard, the Flyers will have to play mistake-free hockey. Minnesota will pounce on every opportunity they get.
|
Recchi! 1-0!
|
Well it looks like I'm going to be wrong, and it won't be a 4-3 game, but its an evenly played game and both teams are getting quite a few chances.
|
Damn it! 1-1.
|
Alexandre Daigle scores on the power play. Bad mistake by Handzus not clearing it. Vintage Minnesota Wild to capitalize.
Amonte comes back...scoring frenzy all of a sudden! |
Amonte! 2-1!
|
 3-1!!!
|
Great fight by Vandy!!! and some skin!
|
Have to say thanks to Pittsburgh for letting Minnesota use all their firepower lastnight instead of tonight.
|
Nice win. Power play does it again for us! I can't remember when the FLYERS where this good on the PowerPlay!
Vandy... hats off to you! Great fight! I was tired just watching it. |
That was an awsome fight, and Brad Brown is a good fighter. Vandy didn't take on some stiff. Nice to finally see a long fight, it seemed like they skated all over the ice a few times.
