Markov Hat-trick.. for my hockey pool.

Shabutie 10-17-2006 02:47 PM

Streit will have a big night tonight, mark me words.

Ghost of Saku 10-17-2006 02:50 PM

I'm betting two mise-au-jeu tickets tonight so either a regulation win or anything past regulation time is good for me :sarcasm:

Seconded.

Fido22 10-17-2006 03:01 PM

2-1 Habs (OT).

Watch Tender try to make a name for himself and take a run at a huge hit on Dion.

Go habs!

I hope you're right...

I predict a 3-1 victory tonight.

Whitesnake 10-17-2006 03:04 PM

We'll see heavy forechecking tonight I believe and hope the Streit-Niniimaa pairing will be able to hold the fort. Can't understand why we couldn't do some Rivet-Niniimaa pairing and Souray-Streit or Rivet-Streit, Souray-Niniimaa instead.......

We'll win 3-2 anyway.

big_habs_fan 10-17-2006 03:06 PM

I have a good feeling about tonight's game. Home opener gitters are out of the way - I expect them to play a good hard disciplined game. Looking for a 3-1 Habs win. Our first line will cause all kinds of problems for Calgary's D, and I think the 3rd or 4th line will score a big goal for us - just a hunch.

Go Habs Go

Oh yeah...that's a staple of the Flames game. It'll be a good test for Komisarek IMO, who's shown tremendous improvement in terms of poise and decision making with the puck.

Our defense is going to have 2 guys on them all night..Flames are alot like the Sabres except they don't have their offense and the Flames are more physical.

Hopfully Phaneuf doesn't take off any of our players heads tonight, not looking forward to facing him.

Keep you head up fellas :teach:

oli500 10-17-2006 03:18 PM

This is the kind of game latendresse can really exel at. The flames are not a fast team and I think latendresse can really be at his best in this style. I hope the habs give him some pp time because your not going to beat kiprusoff one on one. You need a big body infront.
