GO HABS GO!

Westcoasthabsfan 10-25-2006 08:46 PM

Here's to a Habs victory.......I dont agree with Lats getting second line time....can somebody tell me what he has done to earn that spot?

HH 10-25-2006 08:48 PM

I don't do lots of prediction but I think we will roll over the Bruins, 6-1. Our speedy forwards will have it easy against their D.

Your GDT's are getting earlier and earlier...
I can't wait for the game either.

phil666 10-25-2006 09:08 PM

Close win for the habs. Thomas always play good vs us, and same can be said for Huet against boston. Thomas still has to earn a victory against Huet I believe :D. 2-1 or 3-2... maybe in SO or OT.

KaptainKourage* 10-25-2006 09:09 PM

We NEED to win this one. I dont want to lose a single game against those little Boston ********, I hate them with passion, them and their fans.

Go Habs Go. Go Habs Go. Go Habs Go. Go Habs Go. Go Habs Go. Go Habs Go.

:dunno: :shakehead :dunno:

BobbyFischer* 10-25-2006 09:23 PM

we're wayyy too good for boston to even compete with.. 4-1 habs win, and convincingly.

JMMR 10-25-2006 09:25 PM

This game will be tighter than you guys suspect. I really doubt Samsonov remains on the 4th line all night.

Provide some reasons instead of shaking your head..... 8 Games played in which he is a Minus 4 with 3 shots on goal.... I guess those are stats that deserve a promotion... man I would love you for a boss.... He has thrown a few hits but when he does he never gets the puck when he does connect

Dynasty 10-25-2006 09:26 PM

O. K. I get it, Lats on 2nd. line to send a strong message to Samsonov. Now that makes sense.

Pascal 10-25-2006 09:49 PM

Let's keep the Samsonov/Lats debate in the other threads reserved for that?

I hope we demolish the puny Bruins. I predict 5-2 Habs.

Calamari 10-25-2006 09:52 PM

Damn i'm gonna miss the 1st period, anyways i predict a 3-0 game with Huet's first Shutout!!

Koivu, Perez, Sammy :yo:

Tatay Farlo 10-25-2006 10:08 PM

Can;'t wait for this game as it's my first with my new Bellexpressvu installation and RDS!!

He was the best player in training camp :dunno:

couris 10-25-2006 10:28 PM

Dont you find now the 2 first lines as something in common?
Higgins has grit like lats
Koivu and Pleks have good pass but a bad shot
ryder and kovy has extrem nice shot:dunno:

HH 10-26-2006 12:00 AM

One thing worst than losing is losing to the Bruins...I can't stand that! hopefully we could go 7-1 vs them like last year :D or even 8-0 :sarcasm:

Team_Spirit 10-26-2006 12:33 AM

It's gonna be interesting to see how their D is with Chara. And both their goalies can steal a game when they are hot. Up front they got new blood too. It should be a good game and Latendresse better wear the work boots if he want to stay on that line.

Komisarek will destroy Kessel :D

coolguy21415 10-26-2006 12:34 AM

These GDT threads are starting too early.

Habsfan18 10-26-2006 12:45 AM

I hate the Bruins with a passion :madfire:

4-2 Habs.

Goals by Higgins, Kovalev, Markov, Souray.

Scotianhab 10-26-2006 01:51 AM

I'll predict a 5-2 Habs win.

Goals scored by Higgins, Ryder, Souray, Latendresse, and Samsonov.

Also Komisarek will have a huge hit on Kessel in the 2nd period.

Transported Upstater 10-26-2006 02:11 AM

Go Habs!!!*

:D

* = I'm serious, btw.

Poochie_D 10-26-2006 03:28 AM

Habs take this one down rather easily 4-1. Bruins can't contain our forwards:

Koivu, Perezhogin, Latendresse, Bonk the scorers.

meh, I'd be more happy with zhogin on the 2nd line

but lats has pretty much done everything the coaching staff has asked him to do on the 4th line.

I hope this lights a fire under samsonov's ***. I know createive players are prone to more turnovers but his turnover rate is just ridiculous.

As for the bruins, I haven;t paid a whole lot of attention to them the last couple games but I hope their goaltending is still shaky.

dafoomie 10-26-2006 05:02 AM

That lineup is a little off, it'll look more like:

Kessel-Bergeron-Murray
Axelsson-Savard-Boyes
Hoggan-Primeau-Donovan
Brookbank-Mowers-Stastny

Lashoff-Chara
Mara-Jurcina
York-Dempsey

Mowers is questionable, if he can't go, someone will be called up after the morning skate. Thompson was sent down a couple days ago, most likely would be someone else from Providence.
