George Parros appreciation thread!!!!

Yes i said it. He played a great game and beat Scott Parker. So for all the bashing this guy took last few games its time to start the mustache bandwagon!!!
Parros = GOD:yo: :yo: :bow:

I don't have anything against this guy and we DO need a heavyweight out there but giving 2nd for Parros is baaaad asset management.

We need to change this into the George Parros point thread like we did with DiPenta!

caliamad 11-22-2006 11:52 AM

When I look at Parros I think of Luigi who ate too many magic mushrooms.

I think he played great last night (although he only played 6 minutes).

Tfighter 11-22-2006 12:18 PM

Parros must be one of the coolest looking enforcers out there. Hope he ends up as the next Fedoruk; an enforcer that can score. It can be since, Barnaby, Laraque are being highly productive lately. :)

The Fridge was never a guy who can score. He was a solid skater for his size for sure, but he cant finish like a Simon, Neil, etc.

Parros might be a better scorer in the end because he was wasnt a pure enforcer in college, only in the AHL when he needed to become one. If he could score as much as Neil does, that would give us a complete 4rth line.

He does have that funny porn-stache, but hes just average as an enforcer. At least he isnt as bad as the metro sexual Burnett.

If Burke wanted an enforcer, he should have signed Laraque - he can score about 8goals a season and is also the only guy who can take on Boogard.

Hockey Duckie 11-22-2006 03:21 PM

I was at the game last nite and someone in the stands gave a nickname to Parros that I think should stick... he called out "Go Get 'em HAPPY!" in reference to Happy Gilmore! That was just too funny hearing that guy ever since the Parros fight!

Parros was watching Super Troopers before.

"Car RamRod!"

ok, now I will :handclap: for parros :)

Dirk316 11-24-2006 03:56 PM

Well it looks like Parros learned to fight nice beatdown he laid on Jansen

Davey Duck 11-24-2006 05:52 PM

2 for 2. Maybe Burke really did know what he was doing on this one. A 2nd is still a bit much, but maybe he got the guy that'll do exactly what he wanted...kick some ***.

McDonald19 11-24-2006 07:47 PM

Parros was turning into a really good fighter at the end of last season, I still can't believe the Kings chose Ivanans over him considering Parros' upside as a hockey player compared to Ivanans...of course they didn't think anyone would pick Parros up on waivers but still.

Well, Fridge used to kick ***** last year and he also contributed offensively (he's twice the player Parros will ever be), the problem is everyone in this league except Laraque would get his face cracked by that freak of nature named Boogaard.

Talentless Practise* 11-24-2006 08:13 PM

Ivanans didn't. Boogaard is not as good a fighter as you think.. he hits hard but isn't that good of a fighter. Fedoruk did a pisspoor job on that one.

True Blue Bleed Blue 11-24-2006 09:05 PM

I appreciate all fighters...and I love George! Of course Colton Orr must be first though

Snap Wilson 11-24-2006 09:16 PM

Amoros Parros?

12 oz Papa* 11-24-2006 10:50 PM

During and after his fights, we must chant his last name. Par-ros Par-ros!
