Lightning vs Habs december 30th
I am going down for that game and there are still tickets available online but can I get better tickets for less than face value from scalpers?

I know there are citys in the US that this is possible is this one of them?

There is no shortage of people selling tickets around the arena, however the scalping laws have recently changed. You can know charge as much as you want for a ticket in the state of Florida without penalty. Being that it is a Canadian team in December, when all our friends to the north are down here, they could pull a good crowd for this one. Just something to keep in mind.

Well when I look online it appears most tickets for this game are sold out!

Does TB just put a hold on the avg priced tickets to seel the most expensive onces first, and how likley will it be for me to get cheap tickets from a scalper?

Last time I bought tickets from a scalper, I was able to get tickets to a Panthers - Lightning game for 20 bucks a ticket, and this was I believe the third game back from the lockout.

It was third level, but it was 20 bucks. Like gobolt said though, it might be different when considering the team and time of year.
