Heat molding

Hey guys...

I just bought some new skates and had them heat molded....but I was standing (moving) for 5 minutes or so before someone told me I was supposed to be sitting down...

Could they be damaged?

you should have sat down until the mold cooled. you can always re mold it again, but it won't be as durable, molds work the best the first time around.

Yeah, as mentioned above you most likely can have them re-heated and re-molded again just to be sure. I did it with my Vector Pros as they were the first heat- moldable skates I've ever owned. Man do I love them.

Have you used them yet?

Not yet...I need to use them they are sitting here!!!

You could damage the boot if you were standing on them, especially if they just came out of the oven. The boot could completely shift and it would ruin the skates. You are also not supposed to skate on the for about 24 hours.
