Ankle Weights
So I bought some ankle weights the other day for running and other leg exercises, but I got to thinking, if I wear them when I practice with my team, in games when I wouldn't be wearing them I might be a little faster or quicker and skate better because the weight would obviously be off. Is this correct?

If you guys use them, what do you do with them?

Yeah sorta..that's the idea and also wearing them around a lot will help build some strength in the areas. I know people who wore them for volleyball. I didn't see a drastic improvement...but they say it helps -shrug-. They actually do make weights for skates, you stick it in between the gaps in your holders.

I took the weights in ankle weights and make skate weights with them. It does make you move your feet quicker when you take the weights off.
