Eklund officially off his rocker...

Let it be said that the Darcy Tucker rumors began today December 29th. Two Canadian teams: The Flames (e2) and Habs (e2) are the first teams that I have heard have interest in the pesky Leaf.

habfan4 12-29-2006 01:54 PM

Is this the official Dazzad thread?

A lot of teams would have interest in Tucker (Habs included) if he were in fact on the block.

ForsbergForever 12-29-2006 02:00 PM

Tucker did start his career out as a Hab, as hard as that is to now believe...

Habitant#1 12-29-2006 02:05 PM

I think Tucker would instantly destroy whatever chemistry Carbo has built with this team.

It's called a free country dude. You can choose to not read his site - just as it is his right to post rumours or random ideas as he sees fit. :shakehead

As pesky and hateable this guy is on the ice, report say he is a great team guy and that he is really like by is peer.
Don't be so fast at pulling the trigger.
I would love to see this guy on the team, he will become a fan favorite in an instant.
On the other hand, it is unlikely to happens since the Leaf will probably want to keep him and dump Sundin.

To go back to the affirmation in the thread title, I second the motion...

Catala 12-29-2006 02:33 PM

tucker as a hab... i would pay big bucks to watch komisarek check him during practices...

Le Maroons 12-29-2006 02:39 PM

Tucker was a hab, #42, I loved him here. Now he's a better player, too bad he's not a hab now.

YOUTH OF HABS 12-29-2006 02:41 PM

i would gladly take tucker on this team.

JaymzB 12-29-2006 03:13 PM

Tuker would look great back in a Habs jersey, but I highly doubt the Leafs would ever trade him to us.

Tusk 12-29-2006 03:33 PM

I was pist that he was traded in the first place, especially in favor of Sebastian Bordeleau. I don't get where the killing chemistry idea comes from either, even to fans the guy is very affable and likes to joke around.

jordi 12-29-2006 03:40 PM

I'm not a fan of Tucker but I'm pretty sure the Leafs don't want to give him to us. Unless it's for a huge bonus on their end. We won't get him for a bag of pucks that's for sure.

Nova_Scotia_Vees 12-29-2006 03:41 PM

The hates runs to deep for me now..I don't think i'd be able to like him again.

Tucker was actually the last hab to ever wear #12.

hototogisu 12-29-2006 03:44 PM

I don't care how many goals he has on the Leafs' powerplay sweeping cross-ice passes into the net: no thanks.

he was not trade for bordeleau

Tampa Bay Lightning traded Patrick Poulin, Mick Vukota and Igor Ulanov to the Montreal Canadiens for Stephane Richer, Darcy Tucker and David Wilkie.

That has to be one of the Habs' worst deals in the last twenty years.

Evil Ted 12-29-2006 03:53 PM

We dont want or need him, this guy is as overraited as they come.

I don't think he ever wore #12, he was #42. Last player to wear #12 would have to be Mike Keane.
