OT: "Messier" by Jeff Z. Klein
Just finished reading it today and all I have to say is that its a must-read for any hockey fan. Theres only 1 chapter on the Rangers 94 Cup run, and most of the book is on his Oiler days. Theres 306 pages in all, and I never got bored one bit at any time. I highly recommend the book.

Has anyone else here read it?

I thought the book was great...

It goes into Messier the person, who has qualities that you can like and dislike.

I read the book a while ago, its a great READ for a hockey fan.

It really seemed the Moose was a lot diff from his early Oiler days to the time when he came to NYR.

He was really upset about the Gretz trade.

I'm in the process of reading that book now actually...so far, so good.

It's about as good as you're going to get with Messier who despite being the center of attention as a hockey player really keeps his personal life pretty close to the vest.
