Top Ten Nashville Home Game Experiences

I was talking to a couple of Predators fans the other day, and I asked them what their home games were like, since I've never been to one (I definitely look forward to doing that one day). They were so nice, they went to the trouble of making a list for me of the things they like most about their home games. I thought I would post this list for the benefit of the Jackets fans who have never been to a game in Nashville. So here goes:

Top Ten Nashville Home Game Experiences:

10. No annoying traffic jams entering or leaving the GEC on game nights

9. Unique goal horn that goes, "YEE-HAH!"

8. If Preds are losing badly, scoreboard video switches over to the Titans' game

7. GEC emergency lighting system - ushers wearing Preds' 3rd jerseys

6. Lots of fun guessing which one's the girl during the "Kiss Cam" segments

5. Concession favorite - Catfish Sushi

4. Preds' organist plays "Rocky Top" during all stoppages in play

3. The Redman Chewing Tobacco Pouch "Bazooka Launch"

2. 10 cent moonshine night

1. Preds score three goals - free possum tacos

Well now, here's those two Preds fans I talked to the other day. What do you think of the list, guys?

"Sweeeet".

That made my morning (especially the sweet). If I knew how to use those damn smiley faces, I'd use them.

Those Nashvillians forgot to mention the tractor pulls they put on during the intermissions.

As Bubba and Cletus said, "sweeeet".

HyperSniper 12-04-2003 05:16 AM

Foley...man you have got it all wrong...

We don't gotta pay for no moonshine ;)

Then the 10 cents must be an arena tax. :dunno: :joker:

"2. 10 cent moonshine night"

Nah, we bring our own moonshine in mason jars stuffed in our overalls.

And I'm willing to bet that the moonshine smuggled in by the fans is much more potent than the "watered-down" product the Preds sell. :)

And I've never had any trouble with distinguishing the male from the female on the kiss cam....just whether or not they were brother and sister, or husband and wife, or both.

geez foley, enough with the low blows! 13-10-1 watered down, hah!

No harm intended, guys. All in good fun. I'll give you Preds fans who have posted here so far credit for playing along.

Well, if God is a Preds' fan, then I probably won't be that fortunate. :joker:

You forgot to mention all those clips from HeeHaw they play during stoppages. Those jokes from the cornfield still crack me up! :rolly:

Maybe someone out there can verify this for me. Was Junior Samples an illegitimate child of Curly of The Three Stooges?

Well then, maybe Trotz is related to Junior Samples somehow.

Hey, it all makes sense now. That's probably how Barry got the Nashville job, using his relative's connections in town.
