You know, some of you doom and gloom people may want to check some numbers before declaring this game a loss by any stretch. Over the past 4 years, we are 10-3-3 against New Jersey (Including being 5-2-1 at the Meadowlands) Guess who started a majority of those games in goal for NJ?

Ever since the 02-03 season you guys have had our number in the regular season. We've also had numerous players injured while playing the Lightning... Stevens concussion in the 03 playoffs, Rafalski (broken leg) and Gionta (broken jaw I think) in 04, Brodeur (knee) last year.

That is merely a statistic or a look into the past. I am in the business of predicting the future. Since my futuristic prediction of the last game was so ****ed up and I was subsequently scorned by a few members, I have resorted back to my more doomish and gloomish self. Indeed, it is my solid negative presence that helps some through half heart attack filled Tampa Bay Lightning games. Ask around. I have no future desire to be verbally cudgeled by my friends here.

And as an aside: I seem to remember a past dominance that was ended recently by a team near my old stomping grounds. The Liberty Bell still resides there, I believe.
