It's going to be a tough game, but if they bring their A game we have a chance to win. ;)

OptimismRestrainer 01-18-2007 01:46 PM

Absolutely no chance in this game. They won't get 25 shots total and will be lucky if one squeeks by Brodeur. This is not the way to go into the break.

No-Twitch Tabitha 01-18-2007 02:09 PM

Brodeur before his 9th freakin' ASG...

I hate him, I hate him, I hate him.

Kristia 01-18-2007 03:01 PM

I think Marty St. Louis is going to have a huge game tonight and carry the team to victory. -GoBolt7...

You know, some of you doom and gloom people may want to check some numbers before declaring this game a loss by any stretch. Over the past 4 years, we are 10-3-3 against New Jersey (Including being 5-2-1 at the Meadowlands) Guess who started a majority of those games in goal for NJ?

As Bender would say..."That's what she said! WOO-HOO-HOO!"

I hope he hurts himself. Again.

Butchered 01-18-2007 04:58 PM

I'd love to have Broduer on my team. LOVE IT.

Ever since the 02-03 season you guys have had our number in the regular season. We've also had numerous players injured while playing the Lightning... Stevens concussion in the 03 playoffs, Rafalski (broken leg) and Gionta (broken jaw I think) in 04, Brodeur (knee) last year.

Did he shoot your grandma or something? Wishing for another person to get injured is not very nice :teach:

Space Monster: Mmm. This jerked chicken is good. I think I'll have Fry's lower horn jerked.

Bender: IT'S USED TO IT. WOOOOOO.

Fry: I never thought I'd escape with my doodle, but I pulled it out!

Bender: Just like at the movie theatre! Wooooooooooooooooooo
I love Futurama. I wish it could make a comeback like Family Guy.

That is merely a statistic or a look into the past. I am in the business of predicting the future. Since my futuristic prediction of the last game was so ****ed up and I was subsequently scorned by a few members, I have resorted back to my more doomish and gloomish self. Indeed, it is my solid negative presence that helps some through half heart attack filled Tampa Bay Lightning games. Ask around. I have no future desire to be verbally cudgeled by my friends here.

And as an aside: I seem to remember a past dominance that was ended recently by a team near my old stomping grounds. The Liberty Bell still resides there, I believe.

Note: The changing of my avatar had nothing to do with culture, clubs, guys named George or chameleon's. It was a bad omen that I changed just before last game and my unjust positivity.

Yes, mother.

I hope he gets hit by a meteorite.

That's my favorite episode...that, and when Bender gets thrown into deep space and runs into that civilization.

NickHanson 01-18-2007 06:18 PM

Gonna have to work to get anything past Brodeur.. go Lightning.

NickHanson 01-18-2007 06:41 PM

Weak goal allowed by Homer.. :shakehead :shakehead

Hockeyfan02 01-18-2007 06:42 PM

Yay...trap time. Nice softie Homer.

gobolt7 01-18-2007 06:42 PM

Dammit

Sarich has a goal on his stick and cant hit the freaking net. Only to be followed by Holvmqvist giving up a Charmin soft goal.

OptimismRestrainer 01-18-2007 06:42 PM

Homer is really seeing the puck well tonight. That is probably the game winner.

Nice one by Homer.
