This is Hackett's chance to prove he should be the #1 tender.

they should let Esche sit out till he is absolutely 100%. hopefully we will get to see Niittymaki in a game or two.

Wasnt Esche supposed to be our insurance policy in case Hackett got injured?

I know how you feel but Abby, Hasek and Khabibulin will have to pick up the slack for me, the good news is Esche probably wont play against the Devils.

Before Esche comes back I'd really like to see Niittymaki in a game.

Why I would much rather have the consistent Esche who has played about the same the whole year play against the Devils then Hackett but it is a home and home and Chico will probably be back by then anyway.

Should we expect Niittymäki to play any games while he's up?

That probably depends on how long Esche is going to be out. If Esche comes back sooner rather than later, probably not.

Vokoun, Lalime, Broduer, and Hackett have it for me in my fantasy league.

Any update on Esche? How long's he gonna be out? Have him in my pool and am reluctant to trade him unless he's going to be out for a substantial period of time.

Not as bad as previously thought. Should be back in about a week.
