New York is expected to have Pascal Dupuis in the lineup after acquiring him Friday from Minnesota for Adam Hall in a swap of forwards. Dupuis had 10 goals, including two short-handed, and only three assists in 48 games with the Wild.

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!

JRGNYR 02-10-2007 01:53 AM

Who comes out of the lineup? It's Washington, so Orr and Hollweg have to stay in, I think.

Unfortunately, I could see Prucha sitting.

This is another must-win. They all are.

in the hall 02-10-2007 02:28 AM

rangers suck

Cynical TyranT 02-10-2007 02:42 AM

Betts sits?

They'd better not sit Holly...

I hear ya bro.

How about this for a prediction from an otherwise pesimistic person around here:

Rangers win 4-2. Jagr, Shanahan, Avery, Hossa

Dagoon44 02-10-2007 02:50 AM

Not sure he is going to play. Why break up a good thing? We need to get on a role not worry about playing someone just cause we traded for him. The Rangers played like a team 2 games in a row this week and need to continue. 7-4 Rangers with Avery getting the Gordie Howe and Hossa scoring 2 more.

lotus 02-10-2007 03:18 AM

5-1 rangers
Nylander, Betts, Cullen, Prucha, Dupuis.
don't ask :P

i wont be able to watch it, tis a shame. Maybe i can get updates on my phone somehow.

After amazing game, keep it simple and take 2 points! Whos gonna sit when Dupuis comes..?

Leprechaun 02-10-2007 05:49 AM

I wonder how Dupuis will fit into the lineup. Does Renny sit him for the first game so that he can wait and work something out in practice?

Orr or Hollweg get scratched despite the game last night?

Unfortunately I see a scratched Prucha as a likely possibility.

Should be interesting to see how Renny(Captain Indecision) will handle the situation....

:dunno:

Anyway...LET'S GO RANGERS!!!! I want to see an effort like last night.

Chimp 02-10-2007 05:51 AM

I don't see how you can scratch anyone from the game yesterday. Everybody played solid and earned their roster spot.

RangerBoy 02-10-2007 06:02 AM

The Rangers are going to win tonight.Something like 12-2.The Rangers are going to win the next 27 games. They will have 111 points. They will their division.Getting back to the game tonight, the Rangers can win this game by just throwing their sticks on the ice.The Capitals should just forfeit the game. They have no chance.Start planning the parade route

Welcome back to New York Stanley:stanley:

Are you coming to Cup winning parade down the Canyon of Heroes on Broadway this June?I went to the Rangers last parade on June 17,1994 and met many Rangers fans from all over the world

:stanley: is ours

Chimp 02-10-2007 06:27 AM

I don't think I have the money for it. ;)

Finest 02-10-2007 06:35 AM

If they play as solidly as they did last night, they should come away with these 2 points. Lets see which team shows up tonight. LETS GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ola 02-10-2007 07:16 AM

I wanna see us play really defensive tonight. Challenge Washington to run the game. They would make allot of misstakes. Lundqvist is hot so I don't expect them to get any easy goals. We got decent depth through all lines and don't expect us to have problem to get on the board even if we aren't pushing for it.

Tom Renney said his plan was to go back with Henrik Lundqvist against the Caps unless the goaltender told him otherwise. Of course, Lundqvist’s legs could always fall off from exhaustion, which would likely mean Renney wouldd still go with Lundqvist, but he’d keep Kevin Weekes extra ready.

OK, more tomorrow for the dawn of the Pascal Dupuis era. The new guy will apparently be wearing No. 98, so be the first one on your block to order a jersey….
http://rangers.lohudblogs.com/

Just a little info because I know I was wondering what number he would be wearing :)

Phil333 02-10-2007 07:33 AM

I wish Weekes would start tonight. Henrik has to rest sometime.

Maineice11 02-10-2007 08:19 AM

Let's Go Rangers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finest 02-10-2007 08:26 AM

OK guys prediction time.... Who will Brashear get into it with first? Will it be:
Avery? Orr? Hollweg? Shanny?
I understand that we dont know if Orr/Hollweg are going to be in the lineup, but i'm just going on what was out there last night. Any guess's :dunno:

and we lose, Face it Weekes can't play big games.

Greg in MA 02-10-2007 09:27 AM

So the Rangers score a few goals on a very weak goalie, and all of the sudden the flood gates are opened with goals?

Tonight they have Kolzig. Now, he's no Roy or Brodeur, but he's certainly not Holmqvist. I think the score will be more reasonable, but I'd love to eat my words about the flood gates opening up.
