Nightly Scoreboard Watch

Some important games coming up this week. I'll be keeping a close eye on the Lightning V. Coyotes game for sure on Tuesday.

LeftCoastRangersFan 02-11-2007 06:45 PM

Christ, I would've banked on a Devs win today. Crappy....

n8 02-11-2007 06:45 PM

damn! beat me to it! was just gonna post it.

It probably would work to our advantage (based on the remaining schedule) for one of the teams to pull out ahead of the others so we don't have to root against all of them.

Finest 02-11-2007 07:05 PM

Bah the Devils lost on purpose today because they dont want to face the Rangers in the PO's again :sarcasm: :)

HVPOLARBEARS19 02-11-2007 07:39 PM

The Devils hurt us even when they lose. Goddamnit.

danno2530 02-11-2007 10:47 PM

Only the Devils can beat us every time we play them lately and then get destroyed at home on national TV by an inferior team that got slaughtered by the Rangers two days earlier. Ugh...

Maybe Carolina can find a way to go on a significant losing streak..or even Montreal the way it's going lately.

HVPOLARBEARS19 02-11-2007 11:31 PM

It's crazy, there's like a quarter of the season or more left, yet every game feels like a playoff game. I guess that's good. I just really want to see MSG rocking again like the good old days. Even when we beat Tampa it seemed like the building was half empty. Damn corporate suits...

Fletch 02-12-2007 07:29 AM

Anthony...

the week looks rougher considering we're relying on teams like LA, FLA (twice), CHI and PHX to win games...all on the road!

I was amazed. It seemed like half the building left early due to the Rangers blowout lead. Atleast stay to cheer these guys for such a great effort. It was a fun game though.

Unless I have something to do after the game (which is very rare) no matter what the score I always stay until the end. I don't see how people can spend good money on a ticket and leave before it ends especially if they are winning.

The way I see it there are relatively few sure wins. Maybe against the worst 3 or 4 teams in the league...but even those guys get wins occasionally too. That said, with 25+ games left we really don't need to worry about the strengh of our rivals schedules...we just need to play solid hockey down the stretch and we're in.

outofrange 02-12-2007 09:24 PM

Oh man. Right now I honestly don't know what's good for this club. Should we give up some pieces for a little run, or stick with the youth and not blow down and the house? :dunno:

I'll take toronto. The Islanders are only 1 point behind toronto, so it's the same garbage.

Lundqvist=Vezina 02-13-2007 06:45 PM

Kings down 1-0 end of 1

HockeyBasedNYC 02-13-2007 07:16 PM

Ugh. Have I mentioned lately how much I hate this stupid rule?

Balej20* 02-13-2007 09:01 PM

Terrible night for the Rangers tonight. Everything that could go wrong, did.

danno2530 02-13-2007 09:04 PM

Well not completely. Montreal lost, so that will help a bit. But as for Tampa Bay, Carolina, the Isles and Leafs..this has been a bad night.

DontStaal 02-13-2007 09:11 PM

i really hope the rangers arent scoreboard watching.. they gotta play their games and not look at the standings.

abev 02-13-2007 09:15 PM

Was that Howie Rose or Chico Resch?
