Eminent trades

I have family living in Arizona and they work with Coyotes staff,

2 quick trades that could happen, as heard in "couloirs" of phoenix

1-samsonov for george laraque

2- Aebischer+rivet+ryder FOR DOAN, CUJO/telqvist and BOYNTON

this is what i got from phone call,

Trades make no sense to me.

The 1st trade does not address a need, sure big George is strong and the best fighter in the league, but we need pucks in the net not people beat up.

2nd trade is a good trade for the Habs for a playoff push, but the Coyotes really only get Ryder because Abby and Rivet are both UFA's....don't see it happening.

Why on earth would Phoenix do Samsonov for Laraque? They give up one of the toughest in the league for one of the weakest AND take his huge contract? Not to mention Laraque's 5 goals compared to Sammy's 7.....

Second one doesn't make much sense either, Aebischer and Rivet are both UFA.

ugly trades

I'd do Samsonov for Laracque in a heartbeat, We'd unload his salary and bad attitude and pick up some toughness that can play.

The second trade is a joke. Cujo is no better than Aebischer and Huet, and we have Halak in the farm. Doan is absolutely not worth Ryder and Rivet. Ryder is a 30 goal scorer easy and Rivet is a total leader in the dressing room not to mention a warrior on the ice. Plus Rivet is very close to Sourray, so moving him increases the chances we don't get to keep Sourray.
