uness06 03-02-2007 02:24 PM

Roads should be fine by tomorrow , and they called a nice -2.

These guys are crazy, there's one hockey player from the Czech Republic he's 19 and apparently one of the leaders of the sport.

sergevlemm 03-02-2007 03:01 PM

yeah I dit it last year but unfortunately I didn't qualify for this year edition.

The sweden Jasper Felder is not there this year. The czech you are talking about is a 17 years old kid : Lucas something, I don't remembre his last name

Habs13 03-02-2007 03:49 PM

Oh ! Thank you! I was telling my girlfriend about this crazy thing I saw on tv before a Habs game last season and this was it! Need more info, mmmmk? And, is this going to be on TV?? Will RDS show this again this year? I want to tape it so badly!

sergevlemm 03-02-2007 03:58 PM

it will appear on tv for sure sometimes but not live...25 000 people were there last year in Quebec city...simply fantastic

Habs13 03-02-2007 06:01 PM

Vieux Quebec is awesome... would like to be there this weekend. Oh well! IF anybody finds out when it'll be on tv, please, post it on the board!

One of my buddies took part in that last year and he said it was absolutely nuts. I'm glad he didn;t get injured cause he's our best defenceman on our team.

It's definately worth it though, that track is insane.

Dutch 03-02-2007 09:39 PM

Wow, the drop in the track at 2:39 is HUGE. I bet there's gonna be a lot of crashes there.

simnorm 03-02-2007 09:46 PM

I'm going tomorrow morning. The video doesn't quite show how steep it really is before and after the gate.

It's going to be wild :yo:

Mathletic 03-05-2007 04:49 PM

I know there's some real full of content stories with Kovalev in Montreal, so there's no way you'll hear of the Redbull Crashed Ice but it was a huge hit in Quebec City. Awesome show and great images will go around the world ... except montrel because I know journalists are on real stories these days ... but here's some for you

SOLR 03-05-2007 05:53 PM

I was there.

/clap to Redbull
/Send email to redbull to urge them to bring the Nords back!

You were right. Part of the video is at that spot I think. I guess those are qualifications.

Looks like the ice was really hard too. Skates dont seem to bite that well.
