Team defense (Jan-Feb)

1. 2.00 gaa New York Rangers
2. 2.17 Minnesota Wild
3. 2.26 Vancouver Canucks
4. 2.33 Dallas Stars
5. 2.54 New Jersey Devils
6. 2.55 Ottawa Senators
7. 2.57 Detroit Red Wings
8. 2.68 Nashville Predators
9. 2.71 New York Islanders
10. 2.77 Anaheim Ducks

I laughed out loud when I saw this. So, who have been dooing something extremly good lately?

Edit: Its the last two month I think, not Jan-Feb, got it from RFC (Greschner4 via rodent?).

;)

Which is why it's sad they struggled to win games...

Probably copied it from Rodent, were I read it this AM. This Rodent's work and he should be credited.:handclap:

How much of the credit belongs to Henke?? Hopefully not the kiss of death but he has been brilliant

This is true.:biglaugh: I was talking about stats that Rodent worked hard on bring to the board:handclap:

Those numbers reek of rabid rodentiality. :)

Now the Rodent have been credited! ;)

While Lundqvist have been good, and especially against NYI, I do not think that he exactly have stood on his head for two straight month. There have been a fair share of so-so goals during that period too.

Though, I do think its possible to draw some other conclusions from it. Looking at the bluelines on several of the other teams on that list, its obvious how valueble its to have a blueline that can move the puck. Dallas before the deadline pretty much had 5 puckmoving guys and one 2-way D, but they are getting allot of help from their forwards. Its the same for us, when our forwards are backchecking hard our blueline are ok.

he has the best goals against average since the all star break. now just think if he was able to eliminate the once in a while soft goal....mmmm that will be his rep in 2 years...the next broduer! but way cooler
