Call up Quincey, Lilja has been terrible.

With the exception of the last game I thought Lilja has played his best hockey all year.

Barring some gritty miracle, we can pretty much write off the week as far as wins go... anyway. The team has made the playoffs and that's the point of the regular season.

Hope everyone's fully fit when the real deal begins.

Exactly, the Wings really are going ot either finish 1st or 4th, unless we screw up majorly and Dallas/San Jose/Minnesota get REALLY hot. No need to risk the players health to try and win the division/conference/presidents trophy. Even with playing all the starters, we wouldn't be guaranteed the top seed, so...

HERE'S TO A LONG HEALTHY PLAYOFF RUN!

You all know I'm no Lilja fan, but he hasn't been terrible recently. He has had his moments, sure, but he hasn't been any worse defensively than Kronwall or Schneider. Those two can't give the puck away fast enough lately (or in Schneider's case, always). I wouldn't mind seeing Quincey get a couple of games in with the big club, but not really because of Lilja's play, more for Q's development and evaluation.
