Nice GDT. The game in the U.S. is on Versus for those that live in the States.

... and on TSN for the one in Canada ! :)

philbo 03-19-2007 09:35 AM

Same Effort, Keep the foot on the pedal!

UAGoalieGuy 03-19-2007 09:36 AM

hmm Crosby has 108 pts. He's pretty decent I guess, eh? lol

Hockey MD 03-19-2007 09:42 AM

Lets keep on moving, strong effort tonight, lets put Tampa Bay within reach!!!!!! Lets Go Rangers!!!!!

WheresBarnaby 03-19-2007 09:43 AM

Versus AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGG! I hate that damn channel! I guess we can count on another wonderful announcing job. Whatever, at least we can see the game. Another big game, so....LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

broadwayblue 03-19-2007 09:56 AM

Yeah, another home game on VS. meaning once again us TWC customers get robbed of a HD broadcast. Well, it's only the most important game of the year!

Seriously, a win tonight would be really big. They win and they need to go 5-4 the rest of the season. They lose, and it's probably gonna take 6-3 to get it done. 5-4 sounds a lot easier. Although this team hardly does anything the easy way.

Maineice11 03-19-2007 10:07 AM

haha...maybe they'll try for the easy way this one time...let's hope! haha probably not though, so I won't hold my breath.

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!! Keep pushing, strong and hard! I want to see Callahan with a hat trick tonight!

We have to score on Fleury more, we have to break through him and score more goals like we did against Boston Saturday night!

trench23 03-19-2007 10:11 AM

LETS GO BOYS!!!! Can't afford a let down after such a huge win in boston.. just keep on riding that high and give 100% for the full 60.

Man, that would be great if we were the reason the isles dont make the playoffs!!!!

WhipNash27 03-19-2007 10:12 AM

I'm going to be there tonight. Can't wait. Let's Go Rangers!!!

I Am Chariot 03-19-2007 10:24 AM

We can beat this team. They played to the so against Ottawa.....

Blueshirt Injury Free Win!!!!

KreiMeARiver* 03-19-2007 10:25 AM

I hate the fact that I lost Versus in HD when the stupid Mets channel went to channel 730 and replaced INHD2.

SingnBluesOnBroadway 03-19-2007 10:25 AM

Come on Garden Faithful — be loud tonight!

HockeyBasedNYC 03-19-2007 10:34 AM

With Pittsburgh playing another overtime game last night, you would hope the Rangers have the all the steam and lay it on late. The special teams have got to stay hot.

I win tonight would be COLOSSAL.

It would move the Rangers to 81 points, with sole possession of the 7th spot.
Plus Tampa Bay plays the Islanders tomorrow, so if the Isles win it puts the Rangers a point behind Tampa with a game in hand. If the Lightning win it helps separate the Rangers from the Islanders a bit with 2 more coming up between them. Its almost a win win situation, as long as theres no overtime (but of course there will be)

It's payback time. The Pens got that silly goal in OT the last game off Maliks stick. cmon!

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!

It's the opposite for those of us with DirecTV. The only HD games are the ones offered by VS., and the ones on NBC.

No MSG HD at all.

ruckus* 03-19-2007 11:07 AM

I'll be there tonight. Not going to be an easy one. Especially if Straks doesn't play. What does everyone think the lines will be if he doesn't skate tonight? Duby will probably be in but I don't know what the lines will look like exactly. Any ideas?

SPG 03-19-2007 11:07 AM

Come on boys.... another MUST WIN tonight. A victory tonight over a talented Pens team would have us sitting pretty for Shanny's imminent return!

Oh... and PLEASE, no more SH goals against us tonight! :nono:

Levitate 03-19-2007 11:27 AM

I hate the pens...the Rangers have lost close games to them all season long. They need to just go out and do exactly what they did to the Bruins. Score early and score often.

And for the love of god, stay off of the PK. I know touching Crosby is tantamount to taking a penalty, but at least avoid the stupid and obvious ones.

I would be interested - but I am in this heathen, sulphur gushing & godforbidding place referred to as Iceland at the moment.
Good luck finding a taker in NYC

Mistress Mandy 03-19-2007 11:52 AM

I'll be watching from the comfort of my living room couch (or my bed, whichever I feel like lounging in come game time). We need a point from this game, though I prefer two of 'em at the end of it all. GO RANGERS!

steviek3b 03-19-2007 11:55 AM

Does anyone know if this game is streamed on the internet anywhere? I don't get OLN.

Rest of the way

Here are two posts I threw in the specualtion thread, I thought it could be useful here with only 10 left for the Rangers:

LAST 10:

HOME Pens
HOME Flyers
ROAD Bruins
ROAD Islanders
ROAD Canadiens
ROAD Flyers
HOME Leafs
ROAD Islanders
HOME Canadiens
ROAD Pens

Currently the Rangers are at 79 Points.

Somewhere between 89 and 92 points are going to get them in.

For 89 Points theyll need 10 more points. - 5-5
For 90 Points theyll need 11 more points. - 5-4-1
For 91 Points theyll need 12 more points. - 6-4
For 92 Points theyll need 13 more points. - 6-3-1

Basically its 5 or 6 wins over the last 10. The way the Rangers have been playing they have a really good chance, but its the teams they beat which will be the most important. The teams in RED are the teams around them they really need to beat.

2 points tonight would really put them in a good position.

REST:

Tampa Bay - 9 Gms Left
7 Home / 2 Away • Four 2-day rest periods • 2 Back to Back Games

Carolina - 9 Gms Left
5 Home / 4 Away • Two 2-day rest periods • 2 Back to Back Games

Islanders - 11 Gms Left
6 Home / 5 Away • Two 2-day rest periods • 3 Back to Back Games

Toronto - 10 Gms Left
6 Home / 4 Away • Two 2-day rest periods • 2 Back to Back Games

Montreal - 9 Gms Left
5 Home / 4 Away • Three 2-day rest periods • 1 Back to Back Game

Rangers - 10 Gms Left
4 Home / 6 Away • One 2-day rest period • One 3-day rest period • 2 Back to Back Games

Rangers with the least amount of home games, but they are the only team with a 3 day rest period. Tampas schedule is by far the easiest with 7 at home and Four 2-day rest periods.

The Islanders have the most games left but because of that they have the most back to back games (3)
