Switching holders

Well i am looking at getting a ew pair of Reebok 9k skates and i like the look of tuuk holders better then the prolites the reebok comes with so i am wondering can anyone tell me the pro's and con's of switching holder's??

Will the tuuk's line up with the holes or will they have to redrill the holes??

OK any help would be great!!

You will have to drill holes.

Have you skated on Tuuks? The CCM holders are quite neutral compared to tuuks.

lightspeeds are quite neutral

I'm just saying that because I had real problems with the one90's and ended up switching to the 9k's. The pitch was NUTS on them.

That being said, I put lifts in my 9ks. :loony:

Thought Tuuks are neutral and the E-Pro are actually a forward lean...so by adding lifts, it's extra forward pitch.

I had a real problem with the one90's so I switched and I still had big problems with the 9k's. I got a smaller size and I was still tripping over my feet. I went to get my skates looked at. They looked at my skating style on tape and my problems and we decided on lifts.

Those are the lifts on my skates.

That's a lotta lift there...but for me, idk if I could ever go away from Tuuks, maybe some Pitch holders. I put on my old CCMs to skate on the frozen street this winter and I had no sense of balance with the different pitch. I thought it would suck when I started on Tuuks with my Vapors, but its worked well.

It took me one practice to get used to them. I only really notice them when I'm just standing on the ice, the front of my blades don't touch.

I tried for two weeks with the one90's and I ended up selling them to one of the guys on my team for his kid and bought the 9k's. I honsetly feel like those lifts are less of a pitch than the one90's. It may have also been the lightspeeds too.
