Philips Arena

Hey all,

I'm gonna be in Atlanta for the weekend and was planning on seeing the Flyers-Thrashers game on Sunday. I need to buy 3 tickets and was wondering where in the arena you can see pretty well without having to pay too much (im only looking to spend 20-30 per ticket). If it were just me, i coudl sit anywhere, but the other two peopel comign with me...i feeel they should have a pretty good view since its their first times at a hockey game. Any suggestions would be really really helpful. Thanks guys.

Also, do you think i could just go there on gameday or would it be better to buy them in advance?

Thanks everyone...good luck with the caps tonight.

If it were a weekday, I would say get $10 seats and go down for warm ups and just stay down there, but not as easy to do with it being a Sunday. If you have a college or military id, dont have to still be in college or in the military, just have to have an ID, you can get $36 seats for $10 a pop. Good seats, lower part of the second bowl along the sides of the ice, not in the corners...The corners go for $24 a piece.

I would either get the $12 endzone seats. Very good perspective, that's where I sit all the time, you can see the entire sheet of ice without having to turn your head.

Thrashers haven't sold out a game yet, so don't worry too much about tickets.

$12 tickets? Wish we had that in the Burgh.
