Flyers lose to Flames in OT...

they should have gotten 2 points out of this but only get 1 and lose in OT on bad goal by Dean McCammond who also tied the game.

I have been less than pleased with Hacketts play of late and can't wait to get Esche back.

Here, here.

However, McAmmond's tying goal would have been nothing 99 out of 100 times. Okay, so I didn't conduct a statistical analysis and I'm merely using rhetoric to influence people and make friends, but it's all the rage. Pitkanen didn't wrap McAmmond up well enough.

I wouldn't call McAmmond's goal a bad one; he picked the shelf nicely and was far from a garbage goal (the one he potted to win the game).

Now McAmmond's first goal and Leclair's goal were garbage. Constant shoveling by the Flames to tie the game, and a bad (or good, for that matter) bounce off Leclair's support beams.

And of course Hack-job can't cover that puck that's slooooowly sliding into the net. "Let's not crucify the guy over a few bad games"??? Damn, gimme the cross, I'll carry the bloody thing to get him out of here.
