Playoff tickets

Is it to late to get a set? Here in STL, I was going to make the drive next weekend to catch a game if the Sharks face you guys. But I can't find any seats for sale on the web site. Did they sell out already?

PredsMan 04-07-2007 07:32 AM

yep...

fir 2 games are sold out.

you could probably scalp some, but have a pretty nice wad of cash ready..

Basher 04-07-2007 01:09 PM

Quite a few left on stub-hub

braindead 04-07-2007 09:46 PM

Mods, delete if this violates the rules, but given the thread title, I have 4 available for the first game in section 113 (I'll be in a suite that night). I'd much rather have a set of Preds fans keeping them warm for me though.

vatali 04-08-2007 04:46 PM

yeah, with the preds getting home ice advantage, it looks like at best I will be able to go to game 2, assuming it is a friday or saturday game. I can drive down on the weekend.

Stub hub is actually pretty cheap comparied to what I thought they would be.

vatali 04-08-2007 07:22 PM

ok, I broke down and got game 2 seats off of stubhub. they were not expensive enough to make me worry.

Now if it is a friday night game, I just gotta get off work.

See ya all there. section 101 with the Sharks jersey on!

Basher 04-08-2007 07:45 PM

I got mine off of stub hub as well, not bad at all. I'll be sure to alert everyone to your presence, if I see you ;)

A 17 dollar ticket? Why am I completely confused, is there like a wall in front of the seats?

we have a hockey club in nashville? surely i would have read something about it or seen them on tv if that was the case. :sarcasm:

normally prices range from $15~$100 during the season, so these($17) are only slightly increased. and the big post aren't even on that end(not that that block the view to the ice). i'm thinking pay the extra $5 and move down a few rows.

My wife and I will be in 309, row L as usual :).

tulsytrid1 04-09-2007 10:27 AM

I will be in 303 B.

PredDave 04-09-2007 11:09 AM

I love the view from my seats in 106 C, but the row behind me almost always has the opposing teams' fans... and most of the time it has drunk visiting hecklers. :shakehead

But, if you can tune that out, the game is enjoyable!

Cool! My wife and I sit in 106 C, seats 9 & 10 for the "23 game partial plan" and the other 20+ games I work for the media high atop section 311...

Small world, eh?

mmneely932 04-10-2007 10:37 PM

That's the way we like here in Smashville! Just room enough for us and big piece of silver!

vatali 04-11-2007 07:11 AM

So I got my tix from stub hub today. I paid $53 for em thru them. the face on them is $74. How does stubhub make money?

At any rate, see ya all soon!

PS, where should we go eat before the game after the long drive in from STL. are any of teh roads planning to be closed near the arena that I need to be aware of for parking?

Thanks and good luck!

Oh, and Go Sharks!

I don't know what kind of food you like or how early you'll get here but we have lots of choices.
Merchants is on Broadway, just a couple of blocks and has excellent food.
The Sports Grill in the Hilton (across the street from the arena) is good.
Jacks Barbeque is on Broadway and is good.

Go Predators!

Basher 04-11-2007 10:00 AM

none left on stubhub, this is full sellout babay!

Be careful coming in and good luck with everything in terms of getting to the arena. It is kind of rainy today but it should be cleared up closer to game time.

There is plenty of parking around. Obviously, the closer you park, the more you might pay. I'd checkout some of the places on Commerce or 4th avenue as they might be a bit cheaper. I'm not sure about any road closures.

If you are looking for a place to eat, 2nd avenue has a few places in Hooters, Old Spaghetti Factory, Mulligan's, and Market Street Brewery. Broadway has Merchant's, Big River, Rippy's. And there is always San Antonio Taco Company on Commerce and 3rd :).
