Rangers Viewing Party - Game 1

A buddy of mine and I went to the Rangers Viewing Party at Stout last night, and let me tell you, what a good time. Adam Graves was there early just BS'ing with people and as was "Bobby Granger". "Bobby" is a really cool guy, knows his stuff too. Gravies couldn't be a nicer guy. I was a little nervous to go over and start talking to him, so I didn't. Next thing ya know I turn around and Adam Graves is shaking my hand and talking hockey with me. He BS'ed with me and my buddy for a good 15 minutes just talking about the first period and all. Great guy. Rod Gilbert later showed up and was walking around shaking hands and drinking, funny guy. They were doing trivia and giving out prizes and stuff. I won a Marty Straka autographed stick and a prize pack and my buddy won a Nylander autographed stick and the prize pack. Just a good time had by all, and I would certainly go to another one of these things if they have one.

Anyone else go to this thing?

Sounds like a lot of fun, they showed clips from that last night with Granger going nuts, his face all red from yelling. Where did you find out about this, and whens the next one?

Great recap, sounds like you had a lot of fun. Graves is the man. And that's cool that they gave out prizes.

Any time Gilbert shows up, you know he'll be loaded. He's a pisser.

Damn I didn't even know about this.

Stout is one of the best bars in the city.

Stout is a good time, maybe I'll go for game 5 or the next round

Went to Stout on Saturday to watch the game, only to find it closed for a private party :(

So I ended up at Harringtons and Mustang Harry's. Harry's was lame. Harringtons had maybe 7-8 Ranger fans 2 or 3 were wearing jersey's as I was. I gave them a nod hello and they just stared at me. So needless to say that was pretty lame too, the third period had some energy in there though, and the managment had the volume nice and loud. I know it was a 3:00 Sat game but where was everyone?

Oh and P.S don't bother going to the Garden to watch the game, like in the 94 finals. Nothing's going on there either. I had to try even though I figured, if there was something I would've heard about it here. To me that's such a brillant idea I don't see why the garden would'nt do it. Open up the concession and do something at the garden theater. It would be sweet.
