special teams

Both PK and PP have improved significantly lately. Who gets the credit? Charron, Green, CJ or the players?

At 2:37 am the success of the special teams seemed like a valid issue. I was quite enthused about it. Now, I think i'll keep my insomnia induced ruminations to myself and post things that might actually be interesting to others.

Good Idea :p .

Though all the credit for the special teams improvement go to Souray and Koivu

The credit goes to the player's for buying CJ's system and making it work!

Aren't you forgetting this is Montreal. There's no credit when things go well...only blame when they go bad!

Well obviously you have to give credit to the players because whether they play good or bad determines the percentage of our PP and PK. But you also have to give props to CJ for getting a good 1st PP line together, even though it took him long enough. But most importantly CJ has been installing motivation (something this team has been lacking) amoung the players through his frequent benchings and like BG said this team has the talent to be good.

Saku Koivu, Sheldon Souray.
