Gameday: Wild @ Oilers 12/30

Final game of road trip, second of back-to-back games. Can we get yet another tie?

I feel like I'm about to pass out any minute from this flu; I hope I can stay awake long enough to watch the game. And yes, non-Wild fans, I will have no trouble staying awake during the game, if I can make it that far. :)

(Funny thread over on the Wild.com boards about the Sportsnet guys last night whining about the Wild trapping with the lead yet praising the Flames when they turned on the trap. :))

I'm going to go with a non-tie. Important game for us, so I'll guess a win.. 3-2. Goals for us coming from Gaborik, Wiemer, and... Zyuzin.

Despite the not so great history with the Oil, I'm sure they can be beat tonight. Should be an interesting game, when two teams who play opposite styles meet. I'll go with 2-1 Minnesota. Goals by Kuba.

Wow, another 2-2 tie. I'm not surprised. This team is not playing well at all, yet somehow manages to not lose. I just don't get it. Goaltending, I guess.

Sure would be nice if we could find some passing. I think that's all I'll ask for now.. just some passing.

I missed some of the game last night but from what I had seen, the Wild are hanging on the edge of there finger tips from going on losing streak. The only thing saving them right now is Rollie and Manny. Giving up 40+ shots on goal in the last 3gms is not a good thing.

I also noticed that Anti had his first scratch last night. I was just wondering if maybe he had caught the flu or just was scratched? I guess I'm not too surprised about this though.

Lemaire said in the Star Trib that Anti was scratched for a rest. The streak is over....
