Eye on Blaine

Thu, Jul 26 - Frisco, TX

The next thing on the Tornado horizon will be the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, MN. Tornado players will face some tough competition, as they match up against both USNTDP and Mahoning Valley in their first two games. While the USNTDP (US National Team Development Program) consistently boasts some of the best junior hockey talent from across the nation, after making a run to nationals last year, Mahoning Valley will be coming back eager to prove why they were the North Division Champions. “Clearly, we will be tested extremely well right out of the gate. This showcase is one of the most significant parts of the season where exposure is concerned for players. By the time we reach Blaine, September 19, we will have had a month together as a team. We will be ready to go head to head with these two teams and show scouts and coaches what the Tornado has to offer.” said Coach Dwight Mullins.
