He will be playing this season for Tri-City and will play for UNO next fall.

Indeed, Alex Hudson is currently on Tri-City's protected list. The Storm still have four 87's on their protected list and have to get down to three for the start of the regular season, but I would be surprised if Hudson isn't one of the three. If not, he'd certainly be prime trade bait for another USHL team. Jordan Willert, Aaron Rock, and Pierre-Paul Lamoureux are the others.

Pierre-Paul is Mario's brother, who had been playing major juniors the past three seasons. The USHL generally is not used to the physicality that Pierre-Paul has experienced, and played with, in the WHL. It's similar to how Ben Van Lare was immediately one of the top hitters in the USHL after coming down from Prince Albert (after two seasons with Saskatoon).

Kevin, USHL teams are allowed up to 4 overage players, so the Storm will head into the season with Willert, Hudson, Lamoureux, and Rock without needing to make a cut :thumbu:
