NHL preview (this will have to do since the Preds site does not want to accomodate my schedule and put up previews in a timely manner. Besides, they're all basically the same report.)

"Now everyone is getting some confidence, and everyone is contributing instead of just a couple guys here and there," Nashville associate coach Brent Peterson said.

Blackhawks: Win 3-2 @ St.Louis (Sharp (2 SHG), Byfuglien )

golfmade 11-04-2007 07:55 AM

Will be another good test for us on the road, Chicago is obviously a much better team than years past. Hopefully we continue with another win.

Enoch 11-04-2007 09:23 AM

We win, and we are right back to ground-zero. Give Mase the start, and lets shut it down boys!

NYMASONFAN 11-04-2007 09:54 AM

Has Trotz given any word yet on starting goalie tonight?

really funny profile picture!

there has been no word yet on the goalie. Mason has to get back on track sometime, might as well be tonight.

I cant see it. Trotz tends to ride hot goalies like rented mules.

I expect Ellis.

NYMASONFAN 11-04-2007 01:08 PM

I agree, I think he goes back to the HOT Ellis right now. Mase will have opportunities to get back on track, when Mr. Ellis cools down.

Seth Lake 11-04-2007 06:19 PM

Well, Mason is in net and the Predators are up 2-0 early in the first. Good start...still a long way to go.

braindead 11-04-2007 07:45 PM

Wow, they hype on Kane and Toews is well deserved. They have schooled our D multiple times already this game. Rads seems to have gotten mad and upped the ante himself with an unbelievable series of plays at the end of the 2nd. It's been very entertaining. One bonehead pass by Mason but a pretty solid game thus far. We need to close this out in the 3rd and get him a W.

Le depisteur 11-04-2007 08:00 PM

Tootoo made 4-2!!! :yo:

Le depisteur 11-04-2007 08:22 PM

Arnott in a empty net!!! Big 5-2 win by Mase!!!

Seth Lake 11-04-2007 08:27 PM

.500%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CBJwheel 11-04-2007 08:37 PM

Believe me, we're doing you no favors.

irisheyes555 11-04-2007 10:46 PM

see mason is a good minder, just get him more than a goal and we can win.

i would do some GDTs but it seems as if the mojo monkey is with spank. :naughty: so like baseball you don't mess with a streak. now lets see how we do against a really good team.

once again.....it is the evil empire. :p:

who really should be moved since they are not selling out home games(17.5k/game) :sarcasm: funny who would have thought the lions would be stealing the fan base?????

OH. NOOOO.
you didn't say anything...you didn't say anything...you didn't say anything... :help: :scared: :help:

Great job by Mason. He looked like every emotion in him was going to come out in that post game interview. You have to think he feels like a 1 ton weight was just lifted off him.

Wasn't Chicago's first goal a PPG? It's listed on the game summary right now as an ES goal. I mean we didn't intentionally play 3on5 for a minute right? Whatever, it's good for the PK stats if they don't change it.

Nice goal by Legwand. Just go to the net with the puck and take a shot.

Radulov was a one man shift. He kept control of the puck all through his spin-o-rama's and knockdowns, and still put it into the slot when he didn't have a shot. If Dumont had put that in right there, that would have just deflated Chicago right there. Nice save though by that Hawk player.

Radulov was the NHL's 3rd Star of the Night!

Back to .500 at 7-7. That's a great feeling.

Enoch 11-05-2007 05:06 AM

Great job by the team tonight.

On an off-note, my apologies for being scarce. Its finals week in med-school. My brain has been taxed to its limit....I have little time to do anything but monitor the forums!

I call for your removal as a moderator. What kind of person puts studying for final exams in med-school ahead of moderating around here? A bad person I say! Down with Enoch!!!:teach:

Best of luck man.

Good Granny Gravy ..... you are in finals week and you can still think.

My hat is off to you. :handclap:

Jarnberg 11-05-2007 08:47 AM

Good to see the team get back to .500.

Now for two tough games in Detroit, and dare I say it, Columbus (haven't heard that before :P).

darth5 11-05-2007 09:08 AM

Great sequence by Rads there. Glad to see he is comfortable again and the first line is pulling its weight. We come in to Wed. as the underdogs again, a role this team seems to enjoy. Hopefully they are not reading their own press clippings or these forums.
