Hackett proposal

I know theres been alot of hostility towards Hackett as of lately so the Sabres will take him off your hands if you take away one of our problems.

to Buf. Jeff Hackett(3 million)

to Phi. Martin Biron(2 million)
Andy Delmore(1 million)

I heard some flyer fans say they want Biron and think Norenen has proved himself the starter in Buffalo, so they could go out and get a vetran back-up.
Delmore is currently in the minors, he has been horrible and he is in the proposal to even out salary.

I would take that in a second but Buffalo would never do that trade. Plus Hackett has a NTC

Regeir was trying to trade Delmore but was unsuccesfull. I am not sure he would deal Biron at this time though

It would be more of a
+Biron for taking the negative Delmore, but with that said, I would do it in a flash.
Not sure Buffalo would and Hack would not waive his NTC likely.

Pretty good idea for a trade. Doubt it happens though. What do Biron and Delmore's contracts look like? Hackett was given a 2 year deal before the season.

Add in some of whatever you're smoking and it is a deal. No one in their right mind would take Hackett.

Maybe. Depending on the length of Delmore's and Biron's contract. They do have Noronen, who looks like he'll be the everyday starter soon, and Miller waiting in the wings. Unlikely to happen but not a bad proposal.

I would do that deal. You guys would think you were playing on Lake Erie.

It's so sad that we are stuck with him

He's been a great tutor to Theodore. I think he could do a good job with Noronen/Miller. And he would face a lot less pressure in Buffalo.

But I think the Flyers would have to give something extra. Biron is a good young goalie.

He's expendable with Noronen and Miller, plus they dump Delmore. It won't happen though.

Let Hackett retire.Or buy him out.And let's move on.

You're shortchanging your own team. Buffalo would never do this. Clarke does this and doesn't even have to think.
