Jersey Lettering

Okay, long story short, so the idiot on my roller hockey team who ordered our jerseys made the mistake of ordering 10 of the same jerseys instead of getting them each customized.

Our team is called the Blackhawks, so we ordered a bunch of Chicago Blackhawks silky practice jerseys, with the idea of customizing them with our own names/numbers. They are ordered online and come in, each of them saying DAZE #55 iron pressed on the back. Daze is some guy from Chicago's team.

What I am asking is, what should I do to fix it? I want to take the old lettering/number off, and put new ones on.

Should I send it somewhere, and pay for it to be done and shipped back?
Should I re-letter it myself (aka get my grandma to do it :naughty:)?
Should I try to find somewhere local that does it?
Should I just buy a new one with my name and number?

Also how can I take the old ones off? Would it be easier to get them stitched on or pressed? All help is appreciated.

This is very easy....send them back. They are stock jerseys and can be sold again. You might have to pay a restocking fee. But, this time just get them only with the logos on front.

The reason why you can't fix them is because the numbers have been melted into the fabric and it's a major pain to fix. It will cost you more money. Just send them back.

I would recommend K1 Jerseys.
You can find them here: http://www.passthepuck.net/id66.htm

Problem. The kid wont send them all back, and this particular jersey for some reason will only come with DAZE 55 on back. If I could only convince my stubborn impatient teammates to send them back and order new ones...:help:

I'd keep them, and call your team the Eric Dazes.

Any possible way I could remove iron pressed letters?
